We met up with a friend to dine here for the last week before it closes it's doors. Had a 5:45pm Reservation on a Sunday. After we sat down at our table, the restaurant started getting full. Owner Russell dropped by and came to our table to chat with us. We were really sad to hear of this news. For appetizers we had the Escargot which were sealed in a pot pie crust. There were alot of escargot inside more than your normal 6 to a dish. It was filled with garlic butter which was very tasty. We also had the Ahi Katsu which I must say is a staple here. It's the best I've tasted. We ordered a Caesar Salad and Clam Chowder. Both excellent. For dinner we had the Salmon Special and the Catch of the Day, Mahi Mahi. It was so good but we were getting full off the appetizers, so we took home some leftovers. The fish in both dishes were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The texture was moist and yet firm. For dessert we had the Waialae Pie (it's actually ice cream) It reminded me of a Mud Pie Ice Cream. It was huge and soothing. It was a nice way to end a dinner meal. We had an awesome experience tonight. We will miss this place. Thanks Russell for all your hard work and all the great memories.

I'm changing my review to 5 stars! Food tastes sooooooo much better dining in than ordering takeout...lol! Today, we ordered the same dishes as our takeout 6 months ago plus a few more. They did not disappoint...it was AWESOME! Our server was very attentive which was a plus! Thumbs up...can't wait to come back!

THEIR SAUCES....but first let me provide some background. My husband and I made a reservation for and early dinner and from the very beginning, everyone we spoke with was so kind and accommodating! We had such a nice evening and decided to order several appetizers and then share an entree. We ordered the ahi katsu, the lobster wontons and the crispy garlic shrimp for the apps and then we ordered the cap meat that was a special tonight for our entree. The ahi katsu was my husband's favorite however, the soy ginger reduction upon which the ahi katsu was placed.... incredible. We literally sent the plate back wiped clean. Pro tip: ask for extra of the taro buns they give you at the beginning so that you can dip them in the soy ginger sauce! The lobster wontons were my favorite. The wontons came with noodles that were cooked to perfection and the ideal thickness to pick up the *amazing* sauce with which the wontons were served. It was a brown butter miso nage sauce (not sure if emojis translate well on reviews so just in case you get a "?" that was a drooling emoji). The crispy garlic shrimp was so fresh didn't have too much batter. Our entree was delicious and we were both commenting on how it was perfectly salted-not too much and not too little. All in all, the service was amazing, the food was delicious and the validated parking was so convenient!

A mentor of mine was coming into town and we met up for dinner. It's been a while since I've eaten at 3660 on the rise, but I know they've always had consistently good food, and I wanted to pick a restaurant that was outside of Waikiki with easy parking. We had reservations, and we were seated promptly at 5:30. Vaccine cards were checked prior to dining. The restaurant was not crowded. We started off ordering drinks, followed by dinner and dessert. Service was friendly, but on bringing drinks to us , our waiter spilled ice tea on the table. For dinner, we ordered soy marinated butterfish and the grilled salmon with crab cake. Both were very delicious! The fish was cooked well, and moist. Both of the entrées came with accompanying starch sides and vegetable. Dinner felt a bit rushed as our waiter was trying to take away my plate as I was still eating. That was a bit weird. Now onto the best part, dessert! I ordered the mile high Waialae pie which was made with Häagen-Dazs ice cream and was drizzled with chocolate and caramel and was absolutely amazing! Definitely a nice way to end the evening.

My brother and sister in laws wedding rehearsal dinner was here and we felt so special with our own room and privacy. The long table was displayed and made for the occasion. Our server was top notch, he even took our pictures the end of the night. This place is a stomping grounds for them special occasion dinners. It was memorable for our family to come to this restaurant. The ahi katsu, caesar salad, fire roasted spanish octopus, and the long island duck along with all their desserts were our favorites.

Went to 3660 On the Rise to celebrate a birthday. Called to make reservations, the only thing that was forgotten was that they did not ask if it was for a special occasion, no problem I later emailed them the occasion. Parking, recommend you drive a smaller vehicle if possible as the stalls are tightly spaced. Dining area, during this covid period they have dine-in in their banquet room in lieu of their normal dining area with the open kitchen. This is the first time I've been in their banquet room and was pleasantly surprised at how big the room was and the adequate spacing they provided between tables. Bring a jacket or sweater as the AC was on the colder side. Food, their Fire Roasted Spanish (grilled) Octopus for appetizers was ono (sorry was eaten before thinking to take photos); for the main courses we had the New York Steak Alaea (with sushi rice rolls) and Today's Fresh Catch of the Day (Ono) with blue crab; dessert was the Lilikoi Creamsicle Tart and the complementary chocolate dessert with candle. Service, good. Prices - reasonable for the quality, amount, atmosphere and service. Will visit again in the future.

Yelp was doing an explore Kaimuki event so decided to check this place out for our anniversary, I haven't been here since college for events. Yelp made it very easy to make a reservation. Dining with covid, they checked our vaccine cards and took temperatures in the front then walked us pretty far in the back for their dining rooms. The tables were very spaced out which was really appreciated. They served us a nice plate of taro bread with butter, so good. I ordered a lobster wonton which was served on a bed of somen noodles as well as a clam chowder bisque. I wish there was more somen to accompany the wontons. They had a nice slight lobster taste, tho it kind of reminded us of shrimp when biting into it. Entrees we ordered roast beef and salmon. These portions are HUGE, you'd have to be super hungry to finish these off. Ended up taking half of each of them home for lunch the next day. The roast beef was nice and soft, easy to cut and the veggies were really nice. The salmon was also soft and tasty on top of soba noodles. Both dishes were a little saltier than we'd like tho.

I can't believe I haven't dine here for a very long time. We were looking for special place to celebrate my husband's birthday. Thank you Yelp for making the reservation experience too easy. I love making reservations right on the Yelp website rather than clicking off to another website. Due to covid, their banquet rooms are open for dine in customers. What a nice idea and they're lucky that they have the space for it. We came here on a Saturday for dinner and the place started to fill up. This is a good place for big parties for future reference. We tried variety of dishes. Their appetizer lobster won ton and escargot was super good. The escargot dish is like a pot pie style, delicious! My entree was Mahimahi which was simple but good. The dessert Mile High Waialae Pie which is like a mudpie is HUGE like you can share with at least 3 people. I felt bad we couldn't finish all the desserts. This place also know for their lychee martini. You have to try it! Service? was Awesome! S**** was the best server and very friendly. The entire staff was helpful and nice. Parking is free with validation but their parking structure is kind of tight so bring your small car. 3660 on the Rise, we will be back again soon.

Another great dinner and customer service at 3660! Although the menu is limited due to Covid there are many items and something for everyone. We started with the ahi katsu, escargot special and the spring salad. Everything was fantastic especially the escargot and plenty to share for 4 people. For our entrees we had the duck, NY steak and butter fish. The duck and NY were fantastic in flavor and portion. The sushi rice that came with the steaks were a great accompaniment. The butterfish was fresh but did not have flavor but 3660 being a great establishment substituted for another steak. The highlight was our server Scott! He was great with suggestions and explained the menu with detail. He was very understanding regarding the butterfish and did not hesitate to replace it with the steak and was very apologetic. Definitely will ask Scott to be our server the next we come back!!
